Rockin' For TAPS at the Pekin Boat Club. 4-11pm. $5.00 admission. Live music by Loose Shoes and Phat noiZ. Come and enjoy hot food from the grill and refreshments from the bar. Bring your pet for the costume contest at 4:00. Bring your family and maybe a lawn chair. More information about this event can be found on MySpace.

The Tailawaggers Classic will be held on Sunday, September 21st, 1:00-5:00pm in Mineral Springs Park in Pekin. Activities include the return of " The american K-9 Idol Contest. We are also welcoming all the way from St.louis " The Flydogs" frisbee dog team, who will also be demonstrating the sport of flyball. Mark your calendars and watch for more information.
